SES and ABS lights stay on after start up, different issues than when the Parking Brake Light and ABS light would come on after the first driven mile which was 4.88/35" tire/tune related. Unless this WAS the cause of the tune all of a sudden. Won't matter much, the EFI tune was never right to begin with.

So, I DEF lost 100% of my tune now being the whole PCM was swapped out in favor of a new one, diagnosis was a short within the PCM. . My concern is, since they are sending my PCM back to GM will they discover the PCM has been adjusted? Or do they just toss these things into a recycle bin? I hope this doesn't affect my warranty going forward for the next 8 months.

I DEF need a BB tune now with an extra OEM PCM to swap out for trips to the dealer for warranty work.

What's the best way to reach BB? I want to get the ball rolling on this. How hard is it to swap out the PCM's? Where is it? Easily accessible under the dash?

The just contact them through their sponsor link here on TMC. Justin is pretty good at getting back to e-mails sent his way.

If I were you I would go with the AutoCal. That way you don't loose your tunes no matter how many times the PCM is replaced plus you can turn it back to stock before going to the dealer.

It is a little more in cost but well worth it.

That's what I want for sure. What's involved with that? Approx cost?

$549+shipping for the Autocal and Tunes.

I just traded in my spare computer for an Autocal and ordered a new one with a new tune for a buddy of mine. I want to be able to have multiple tunes and this is the easiest way.

http://www.blackbearperformance.com/autocal.asp

You can buy directly from that page.

Yup, the BS I've dealt with over the years I could write a book about, seriously.

But you are getting your ultra shiny coils, happy? :D

I may even have him spray a gloss clear that has larger more pronounced flakes in it for even more bling.
