Put it towards the truck note. I am tired of blowing money, rather have a truck paid off than a "sweet" looking ride.

I drove around with it tonight and passed 2 cops that were sitting and waiting for people. They weren't using instant-on or laser. I picked both of them up a good deal down the road. Where I'm at it will be useful. If it saves me one ticket then it will be worth the money. Ticket cost may not be much, but increased insurance for several years will add up quickly.

I'll see if I can get a video tomorrow. I actually had my camera with me tonight and tried to. I passed the 2nd cop and he was in a location that they usually sit, so I was like "okay I'll go get a short clip of this thing in action." By the time I turned around he already had someone pulled over, so no go.

It's also good to have around here because I live on a college campus. We have many false positives, so the auto-learn feature will come in handy and keep my ride quiet.

I have used detectors for probably at least 30 years...maybe longer.. :dunno:

Over the years they have saved me thousands of dollars...
I drive around 1000 miles a week...at least.. and usually in a hurry.
When on road trips... 3 or 4 times a year... sometimes I just want to cover some country and GET TO where I am going.
If I am out west somewhere...and traffic is light...around 100 is a good speed to get to where you are wanting to go... :)

I know I could slow down and not need one... :dunno:
but I don't slow down, so therefore I "DO" need one...

Thanks, Jim. I like it already. I passed another LEO that drives one of the new chargers in a neighboring town. He was sitting at a red light but I couldn't tell it was a cop because it was too dark. The only way I knew is because the Escort started going off. It seems all the guys around here just keep their radar on. Good news for me!

I'll have a review up in a few days.
