Smoking my taillights, opinions? (UPDATED)

Update!

Got my lights painted earlier today. Spur of the moment kind of thing too. My buddy calls me up and asks for a ride, so I pick him up and ask him where we are going. He tells me he needs to pick up some supplies for a paint job hes been doing, (hell yea! I think to myself) so I throw it out there that I wanted to re-do mine. He says its cool and all I need to get is some Bulldog (adhesion promoter) and it would get done today.

I am very happy with the results this time around. I loved how my old set was nice and dark but was just not comfortable with the light output when braking/signaling. I took plenty of cell phone pics and plan to do a write-up of the steps for anyone interested in this alternative method.

I would rather have Camel's, never smoked tail lights before, but I can imagine they would taste nasty. Would not recommend it. I thing the burning plastic could cause cancer.

I think it looks good but I would not do it to mine. Too paranoid about some idiot "not seeing" my brake lights.
