He did save the crank. It came out nice. I will probably just resell it, Or save it for another build. Its 10/10 now, I'm going to just pick up a new Scat crank.

Bored the block .041. He decked the block, Just to make sure it was leveled. He didn't Zero deck it. Hot tanked and acid dipped,Installed new upgraded cam bearings. (I forgot what he said was so nifty about them. But he had them in stock so i went with it.)

Now just need to get our Big block back together so we can start on mine :(

Race down in TN(5hour trip there :facepalm) a few weeks ago, And i guess we made some enemies. Well they sabotaged our fuel tank with beer. And we ran like crap. So we tucked tail and came home, to work on the truck...

Testing for the next race... We lunched a push rod

Welllll, Change of plans again

Guess i will be building a de-stroker ... Going to use the 400 .040 over... With a 350 crank and rods...Will make it a 379 ... Full roller .... Should make some serious power :)

Got an actual engine builder that is helping us with our big block, And he said he would hep us with this small block. (Hurts my pride asking for help lol)

Haha, Wow..

Ended up going with a scat crank, scat 5.7 rods(The good ones that are clearenced and 7/16s cap screw..Bushed),speed pro dome pistons.... I figured the compression to be like 15.6:1  I'm not sure if i had the correct numbers when i did it, but i think they were right.

Went ahead and took the plunge and went full roller. Have not bought rocker arms yet.Engine builder said he wants to do some measurements first.

Cam card...I might delete this in a few days lol...(You know how that goes) :D
Engine dick was talking like he wants me to run a 1.65 rocker "if he can work it in" lol
I finally got head...or heads!! lol

EQ heads..They are cheap... And they are actually pretty cool. They need alot of clean up, but i think they will be epic.... 2.08in 1.60exh 235runner 50cc chambers...Pretty big head for a 379cu inch, but we will see.

Should be a pretty stout combo. I think the heads will be fine with your compression assuming you plan on twisting it pretty high.

Is this going in your mud truck?
