Those are actually headache racks, not roll bars. Our old site has a bunch of them.

He's talking about roll bars, headache racks are a completely different animal however equally useless in a rollover. Only way the roll bars will do you any good is if you cut a hole in your bed and they mount directly to the frame.

That picture of the rollbar is the style thats on that ford. Its not like some where bars coming down next to the cab are straight down.

id measure it and if it look like it will work and you can get it cheep enough go for it:thumbs:

Most of these things mount directly to the sheet metal in the bed, very few go through to the frame rails. Just buy it and screw it down and be done with it. You already acknowledged that it was just for show so there's no point in seeking out a special one that will bolt to your frame rails.
