Oh...also update on my truck: They called to say it was "fixed" but they don't know why it happened. I assume this means they just gave up and reset the computers. They said they had one other truck come in with the same issue. It hasn't come back since they "fixed it" but they asked if they could keep my truck for a day or two longer so that the GM regional rep could look at it and pull any data he wanted off it while he was in. This was a couple days ago, so I assume I'll get a call to pick up the truck today.

Gm rep got there today...known issue. Crystallization of the DEF in the injector limiting flow. They're replacing it. Rep said GM is working on a long term solution as they've seen this a bit.

Interesting. When SCR came into our world, this was a common issue. In the class 6-8 truck world, SCR is known as "2010 EPA", and I spent the first 2 years do warranty and policy claims on Detroit/Daimler Urea tanks, pumps, dosers, and lines. It was horrible.
By 2012, we had mostly resolved the issues, other than the wild card...the enf user and his DEF supply. Since then, I have only used what I think is quality, pre-packaged DEF. Up until yesterday, I used bulk for the first time, because I was in a hurry.
Anyhow, old, contaminated, bulk, etc DEF was causing a lot of crytalization and contamination issues for us.

hmm...maybe the dealership should look at their DEF supplier, as they're the only ones to have put any in my truck prior to this. :)

Man, finding one "kit" from one manufacturer is challenging. I refuse to bolt on anything that says SINISTER on it :jester:
Wehrli!

Neat fab, but ?? I see no EGR kit, DPF delete, or anything I can use to flash a tune other than going with custom tuning.

Man, I am not out to race, or spend all my nights fine tuning this bitch. I want the simple solutions. Direct drop in.

I like all their piping, and I really like that simple air filter solution

We seem to be massively in the minority here. Seems all the folks who delete are building toys. I just want a reliable tool.

That's what mine started as...

My DEF nozzle never had an issue when I had it... But I also never had dealership DEF in it, lol.

I'll double check my CP3 conversion bill to see which EGR delete kit the shop used... You could just get blocker plates, and leave it in, too.

Put the parts on, install your tuning, and you're done. That's all I did before my CP3 conversion.

My EGR delete is Sinister, lol. But a few of the diesel shops do sell complete bundles... I just can't think of them off the top of my head, lol

It happened! Damn you Karl!

I used bulk DEF to fill the tank. It has been single digit weather since. Got a Def warning and my DEF level is stuck at 24% with a full tank
