Question about leaf spring install on my 1995 F-350

I cannot remember which way these front leaf springs face. Can some one tell me if the short side faces forward or the long side? I need to know the measurements from each end to the center pin.

Short end goes towards the front.

I`ve done zillions of those suckers (almost )
