It all depends on where you are. Where I grew up redneck was an insult. You can be a county boy with out being a redneck. Then I have met people from other areas that are not the typical trailer trash redneck that were educated and contributing to society who considered themselves rednecks. I guess it is all relative.

There were reasons for that Ford's victory. But tdo you think the average drunk at that truck pull would care or even understand? All I will say is that was a nice looking Ford.

If even the N-word became a popular form of endearment among blacks, I wouldn't doubt the R-word to become some matter of patriotism against all that leftard gun-hating anti-American agenda.

That is true. They see all of us as rednecks.

At least the American country culture is strong enough to draw some influence in other parts of the world. Not getting into a debate about how a culture can be "superior" to another, but nearly every anti-American I've ever met could be described as a pussy.
