Damn, dude, that blows. I say locate a low-mileage used 5.3 and just swap it out. You don't have the time to be building anything crazy, it seems, and you know if you start tearing into it, that's what's going to happen.

Just put her back to the way she just was and then run the piss out of it again or sell it and get on that C10.

I have a bunch of scenarios rolling around in my head right now. Time is my enemy and I still have a hard time paying someone to do something that I know I can do. But I don't have time to do.. That's the suck part of it all.

May just put the stock suspension back under the red truck, trade it in on a 2500HD. Fix the white truck and sell it.

I really had my heart set on getting my old C-10 back and working on it, so I'm more dejected about those plans than the fact that my hot rod is fucked. I have 6 weeks before the show season starts again, so I have to get in gear.

This sounds like a good plan, especially since you will be doing Adam's shows now, gives you plenty of room to grow, plus showing off a nice new ride with top quality vehicle care products is a win win.
