More than likely it is just the valves, so a new set of heads sounds good.

The laughter is the beyond disgust kind of laughter. Come on, nobody wants to see a grown man cry.

I have a bunch of scenarios rolling around in my head right now. Time is my enemy and I still have a hard time paying someone to do something that I know I can do. But I don't have time to do.. That's the suck part of it all.

May just put the stock suspension back under the red truck, trade it in on a 2500HD. Fix the white truck and sell it.

I really had my heart set on getting my old C-10 back and working on it, so I'm more dejected about those plans than the fact that my hot rod is fWONked. I have 6 weeks before the show season starts again, so I have to get in gear.

Pulled the valve cover this evening after work, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a broken valve spring. Springs all look good and rockers haven't spit any needle bearings out.

Put everything back together and hooked up to the trailer. I'm pulling this shit home and will fix it when I get to it. The trailer is pretty light right now so I'll just take it easy on take offs.

I had a bent push rod cause what you are describing. Just a thought.

It's a good thought, I am not in the habit of overwinding the motor. Without pulling the pushrods and just turning the motor over it looked like I still had full lift. But it's always a possibility.
