Somebody posted this over on ToyotaNation. Toyota just can't get ahead of this stuff! They are going to be buried in this for years if this is true.

Wow, this isn't good news for Toyota who looked like they were actually regaining some trust. Geez, I never planned on purchasing a Toyota, but now I know for a fact I will NEVER purchase a Toyota for certain.

Indeed. Had this been one of the big 3 the ENTIRE world would have heard about how once again American carmakers are bad bad people and that everyone should drive a Toyota, a Toyota Prius to be exact.

I wish LR would do some recalls for the stupid shit that happens to them........IE: Airbags don't deploy at all, bushings suck, seals suck and it will always leave it's mark all over everything, etc.

Well you can hope that all you want Dave, but it isn't going to happen. They have many billions. It would take ten years or more of this crap to do em in.

They will emerge just fine on the other side of this.

I don't think this new revaluation will make much difference in their popularity IMHO

Sure the people that perceived they had unintended acceleration or believe the reports, will never buy another Toyota, but the people that have been happy with them over many years will keep supporting the brand.

Just like the Ford guys, the GM dudes, and yeah the Chrysler people too.

I use to be Mopar only in my youth and wouldn't even look at other brands.

I even purchased a NEW 81 Plymouth Reliant.(they were in bankruptcy then too)..do you guys realize that Hurst made a shifter for a 4 spd Reliant, they did, and I added it

I've been very pleased with the 6 yota's I've owned in the past and the two I have now!....please don't hate me fellas, I like ya'll!
