Found the first thing that made me go "Wtf?" the thing that I found was the battery. Could not find it for the life of me, not under the hood, not back with the spare. Where else could it be? Had to come google it, turns out it's in a little hidden compartment under the passenger seat. What the ****? Why would you put it there? Luckily it looks like the seat goes forward and up enough to get it out. Other than that it's awesome. Love the keyless entry and start, the heated seats, the automatic a/c, the 9 speaker 500 watt Alpine sound system, bluetooth for phone, started putting my playlists on the 30GB hard drive in the radio. Now we'll just have to get it broken in and let the new wear off a little to see how the 4 wheel drive works in sand.

There's a lot of "empty/unused" space under the passenger compartment. How often do you need to get to the battery? It'll probably be more reliable and safer in that location rather than in the engine compartment. Also more protected in the event of an accident.

Now get some nice black wheels on that jeep. It's close enough to white so you can still join the Storm Trooper Club

Moving the battery away from the -20 degree to 200 degree plus engine compartment lengthens its life and stabilizes the ability to maintain a charge. Good move!

I guess all that makes sense, just caught me off guard.

The GC is only available in 5 seater.

Pulled in the drive way and popped my fog lights on to see them against the garage door. Passenger side one didn't light up. Got out and looked only to find out it looks like I punched it out with a tumble weed on the way home from the dealer. Not even 300 miles and it has a battle wound. :fume:
