They were perfect for what was needed. Just remember to seal the crap out of them when you're done. Probably the most frustrating part with RTV Silicone getting all over everything...

Why not use the butyl type sealant that they're normally sealed with?

RTV is what almost all of us Ford Guys use to re-seal lights. Did it on my current headlights & taillights

Do the headlights have anything other than the RTV holding the lenses on?

I know most other retrofits use the butyl because it lasts longer...

How many factory headlights have you seen drop a lens?

I hope the RTV keeps working for y'all

Well there are two Torx screws holding the middle shell to the back, I believe they hold to the front lense too. I can't remember.

Other headlights only have the butyl/glue holding the lenses on.
