Yeah I'm not too concerned with it, you have to get right up next to the light to see them & usually only when they are on

Steve; How much did yours cost all together?

Mine were $700 and were more or less plug and play. I had to tap into the parking light wires to provide power to the halos.

You could get a set for around $500 if you didn't want frills, ie. halos, PTM, devil eyes, etc.

Yeah just OEM. Not a big deal. I have it back together and if it leaks I'll just throw some more silicone on it.

Really man? Shit, PM me your addy and I'll send ya mine, I have no use for it and am too lazy to try and sell it.

Just saw this....sorry! I appreciate it but you go ahead and try to sell it. If you fail then I'll hit you up on it...but it's not necessary. I washed the truck twice and it's been super cold lately.....no condensation. That's all I was worried about so it seems I'll be okay.

Thanks, though, Steve! I do appreciate the offer.

Matt did you buy your lights new? The ones you retrofitted?

I was looking at my lights today and noticed how much of the spider cracks really are on mine.

I'm thinking about selling my spare headlight and getting two new OEM ones. Guy that wanted to sell me that passenger light wants $75 for the light now. $25 for shipping seems kinda high to me

I bought a set of eBay knockoffs for $100 shipped.

Reasons:

  • Don't have to be without headlights during the project.
  • If I did screw up, it was on a cheap set.
  • They were easier to peel apart.
  • Don't have to worry about the cheapos leaking since I'd be the one re-sealing them...
  • $100 for two of them shipped to my door
