cool thanks. anything else needed? what about having them both work together when hitting the lock/unlock rocker switch?

Yeah, thats how it will work. Just like factory locks. Hit the unlock button and both doors unlock, hit lock and both doors lock.

So just put the actuator/relay in the door and wire up to the rocker switch for each door? Or do I still have to run wires to the fuse panel too?

If you are asking this many questions I think installing powerlocks is probly gonna be more than you can handle by yourself. :dunno:

But to answer your question, you need one actuator in each door, and a pair of relays mounted somewhere in the dash. You can mount one switch or two switches and mount them whereever you want (door, dash, console, etc.) The relays will need to be wired to a constant fused 12v in the dash, and a ground. Then also have two wires running from the relays to each actuator. The switch should have 3 wires, one ground wire and two "signal wires" connected to the relays. One wire will trigger the unlock relay and the other will trigger the lock relay. The 3 wire lock switch just completes a ground circuit to activate each relay.

This is how you would wire up the relays. The two wires labeled (-)alarm output can either be wired to a 3 wire momentary switch, a keyless entry, or an alarm. Or to a switch AND a keyless entry or alarm.
