Once im done school and get back to makin monies ill be buying a good scaner, it will be nice to have codes that ppl understand lol thanks all for ur info

If you take it to Autozone or some of the other "chain" auto parts stores, they will scan it for you no charge and give you a printout of the codes it is throwing (in the standard P0... format). It might be worth it to give that a try so we might be able to point you in a little better direction.

ok finaly got my inlaw to do a scan while i was away and its throwing p0030 (ho2s bank 1 sensor 1)

And on another note my father in law likes to tinker and make engines push hp nithe me no him can find direct info on some upgrade parts(cam bigger tb intake etc) every time we look on ebay and put in the truck in the compability part it says wont fit mine even ls3 stuff. Any 1 have a good online site with lots of options for the ly6 or ly6 compatible parts the dont make it an ls swap.
