How rough an idle? Change the wires. You did gap the plugs? Check for vacuum leaks. Especially in the intake if you pulled it to clean the MAF.
The fuel filter is in tank. I would put a fuel guage at the rails and see if you are getting low pressure. You shouldn't have a problem with the pump if you have been using good gas.

the rpm at idle goes from 580 to 620 randomly(i have an obd2 app and the wireless adapter) the truck shakes a bit at idle. If i was not looking for it or had my coffee in the console it would be hard to notice. Iv gone over it looking for air leaks, and i use shell fuel 90% of the time. I bought it used so i dont know what the pre owner has done or didnt do. I figured id start doing some pre maintenance before it has the potential to cost a lot.

Idle should be 575ish stock. Any overspeed/underspeed should pull/add 3 degrees timing respectively. Can you see what the timing is? If so how much is it fluctuating?
Id start with replacing the wires. I know when I did mine, (at 100K mi) my plugs were still good, but my wires were dry-rotted. They either snapped or cracked.

all i have is the tourque app i bought, it dosen't show the timing but my inlaw has a few of the computer obd 2 readers he uses on his car so after i replace the plug wires ill get together with him and c what the engine is doing( kinda sucks getting 15mpg)

as u can probably tell im new to the fuel injected stuff all my trucks have been carbs that ya fix with 2 wrenches and ducktape lol
