Just got off the phone with Ron.

Trutrac for the back, 4.56 ring and pinion gears for front and back, master install kits for front and back, and axle bearings and seals for back.

Basically everything I'll need. $844.99

Hopefully ordering within the week, we'll see!

No '03 tails for this guy. If I did anything it'd be the '04+ GMC tails with the black around the outside. I just like the smooth look of those tails.

The only thing that turns me away from those is the orange. Fugly imo. Of course you can candy them but IDK sometimes that comes off as tacky also.

Got a new battery.

Guy who bought my wheels is giving me the run-around.....I thought the kid was better than that. He even told me someone "stole" a center cap off one of the wheels. those things are $40 bucks.

He owes me $1300. Said He can give me $500 monday. Monday came and no money, I had to text him "whats up?"

Says he cant find his wallet, and hes headed back to work and see if he can find it. He asks me

him "how else can I get into my bank account?"

me "umm, the drivethru?"

him "well I dont know my account number"

me "just give them your name and they might ask for your social"

him "I dont know my social"

me "ok....then IDK!"

Calls me back later (supposedly at the ATM)

him "The ATM wont let me take out $500."

me "I couldve told you that. Now since you have your wallet you know your account number. "

him "yeah ok, tomorrow (today) I'll go through the drivethru and get your $500."

me "ok."

So today he calls me a minute ago.

him "Hey man I dont know when I'm going to get off work (yes, he does, he works for his dad and they get off the same time everyday) but...the ATM aint gonna let me take out $500 is it?

me "No, you found that out yesterday remember?"

him "yeah, ok well I'll have your $500 tomorrow at my lunch break."

me "ok....."


I havent pushed the kid a bit. He's the one been making all the deadlines and then breaking them. I'm starting to think this was a bad idea. I mean I know his whole family, I see his parents out at dinner every other day, his grandfather owns a million dollar business in town.....I figured he was good for the money even if he didnt have it to begin with.

I'm considering taking the wheels back. I mean I might get the $500 tomorrow, but how hard will it be to get the other $800?

I wouldn't have personally given him the wheels until I had all of the money.

I'd call him and say, if you don't have my $1300 by the end of the day, the deal is off.
