It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
And I'm not sure 20k miles is that big of a difference at that point. I mean if we were talking 20k vs 40k, maybe. :dunno:

They both look to be in good shape

4WD adds complexity and opens the door for expensive repairs... especially as the miles pile up. Personally I'd run away from a 100K 4x4 if I didn't need the 4WD for winter driving. A Tahoe isn't ever going to be some kind of "off road" machine, so it's silly to have it for that reason. 4WD also translates into a couple less miles per gallon. Not a bad thing to make note of in this time of 4 buck gas.

Paying the same or more for the 20K more miles 4x4 just for the sunroof is nuts.

The non Z71 Tahoes are much cleaner and easier to make look nice. That retardedly oversized roof rack is ridiculous.

Suburbans are better... but they are for men with real balls.

I concur. And so would Gary.

I concur

We love our Burbs  Wifey went from an '87 Mustang LX to here Burb without a glich. She loves it,plenty of room to haul the grandkids, groceries, camping gear, kitchen sink etc. all at the same time.Being a '99 hers has the venerable 5.7 in it and never misses a beat, very dependable. It gets around 11-12 in town and 16+ on the hiway which isn't too bad.I've replaced the air filter & the right front axle and all four shocks only,no serious repairs(knocks on wood :jester:) and gets serviced regularly.I wanna mod it but she won't let me,she likes it as it is....completely stock except for the wheels.I believe it currently has 130,000 miles on the odo.Mine? well, that's an entirely different animal :jester: I can say this...I replaced the front axles only cuz I wanted to and not because I had to.Replaced the cam because cuz I wanted to & not because I had to..NO major repairs...(knocks on wood, again :jester:) 230,000 miles on the odo and still kicking ass

I like the Z71 air dam,(which is why I have one on my Burban :D) and the fact that they come colormatched, but I don't like the ugly rocker cladding or the roof rack. :dunno:

I do not believe GM made a GMT800 Z71 in 4x2.
