Hunter, for me when I choose either Base, XL, or XLT, with a 5.0 and RWD, it says they aren't compatible. :dunno: Amazon may very well be wrong (they have been before). I'd double check with Hooker's website to be safe.

those look alright to me, in the picture they look painted not ceramic coated though, if you are planning on keeping them for a long time I would get a coated header, I recently sand blasted some cheapy headers so a friend could repaint them, they were rusted and the metal was so thin I was blowing holes in them with the sand blaster, like I said beware the cheap ones because they don't always fit well and they don't last

you're gonna want to look for thick flanges so they seal good, a good coating, and also don't forget to get good hardware, I'm using ARP hardware for everything in my motor

also i wouldn't trust Amazon for buying truck parts, i go to jegs.com or summitracing.com

I'm only going to run them until I can rebuild my motor. I plan to do that when I get out of school (2 more semesters after this one)

I use Summit to look up part numbers and to make sure the parts will fit along with the manufacturer's site. Then I take the P/N to Amazon and see if it is cheaper...and usually is. Just one way to be safe!

QUESTION:
I'm strongly looking at getting this HU (LINK). It doesn't have a direct ipod hookup in the back like I was looking for. It does however take this (LINK). I'm wondering if I can take that cable and plug THIS into it and everything work? :dunno: I hate having cables coming out of my HU and like a hidden iPod hookup in my glovebox
