You'd have to have a decent amount of work done to have the factory kit installed. It's more than just the remotes. Your best bet is to go aftermarket and get a kit that includes remote start. I am having a Viper 5301 (one-way) kit installed on the 13th. All total it's running me about $420.
There are cheaper kits though, such as the Viper 5101 (one-way but still effective) that only run about $210, installed + the bypass module which you can pick up for $39 online and have installed for another $30 or so.
$300 will have you setup nicely.

I also went with the Viper. My truck has OEM power locks but did not come with Keyless entry. After chasing my tail and trying several dealers to get OEM remotes to work, I went with the Viper and have loved it!
