Fiberglass or those epoxy resins are a good option to patching rusty sheetmetal. but I'd consider to make an entirely new seat pan out of fiberglass using this old one as a mold.

Or just buy a new one! :jester:

New one: probably not available. And to find a less-rusty one still seems to not be so easy. It's not like a Harley-Davidson :lol:

I think using fiber glass will work out. I am looking at a few other things I can do to it as well. to make it work.

What about POR 15 then fiberglass it? Take it to a Mexican body shop because if anybody can a MEX I CAN. :rollin:Hey im for real I have done a lot of jerry rigging in my life.

That is most likely what I am going to do. First I have to weld a couple of spot so the fasteners will still do thier jobs.
