Whats making you go with a skinnier tire? Rubbing Issues?

I noticed that when I climbed hills with my 35s I did it like nothing, but now I struggle with my 38/13.5. Wanna see if it makes a big difference.

Bigger tires on these F150s do put some stress on them. Going one size smaller (not sure how much smaller these are going to be than the toyos in actual measurements) could give you some more clearance in flexing.

But looks like your the guinea pig here with those tires. So let us know how they do on the trail and street conditions. Do they offer anything bigger than 37s ?

OG, I could be off here, but I would think the diameter has more to do with your hill climbing ability then the width.

3 inches more diameter is going really have an effect on low end power.

 $1,000 per tire and slightly confused at the tire width, thats awesome

You had the Mud Graps before right? The Trail Grapplers could be worth a try if they offer 38x12.5. If ynot ya may need to step down to 37s.

Right now I have Toyos M/T 38/13.5x18 which I swear by never had a flat compared to my BFGs. the Mud Grapplers are 37/13.5x18 but as I mentioned b4 I will only use during snow season cause I hate using chains. Plus I won't use them for my everyday driving because they are noisy and wear out very quickly on asphalt.

Going from 38/13.5x18 to 37/12.5x18 I'm actually reducing the tire size 1 inch in width and 1 inch in diameter, now multiply that by 4, that equals to less weight for the gears to spin.
