Wow! Good reply,s
I have more to look into.

I am going to check out nubuilder links
and I am going to think more on what Unleashed said.

I am worried about leaks and looks so I am kinds thinking about HD light and buying from ford.

But I like some of the led tails I have seen. I am still looking thanks for all the info you all will help me decide.

Unleashed I am definetly going to put in my own. I see on some of the lights that had issues, that the issues might have been installer issues.

hopefully I don't have to worry about water leaks or not fitting right.

I will have a factory look.

Looks good, man. Those are legit Harley headlights, correct? If you bought from Tasca or someone reputable, there shouldn't be any problem with leaks. Usually the leaks come from knock-offs.

do not do projectors larry, i think they look extremely ugly...and you should do it all yourself.
:withstupid:

As far as taillights & 3rd brake light go, check out gorecon.com. Then you can take the part number from their site and go to streetsideauto.com and usually you can get the exact same part from them for cheaper....and it is the recon brand.

+1, or take the p/n and go to amazon. thats what i did myself, got it a good bit cheaper also. they came packaged very well in recon boxes, and i've had no problems. they even passed hawaii's safety inspection, because though they are smoked out, they had the required reflectors in them still. no leaks or any such problems for about 1 month now.

Are we talking black inside the headlight assembly, or totally blacking the lens out?

I dont know if anyone has mentioned this, but if you permanently black your headlights out, your visibilty goes down about 75%.

Even with HID's and/or projectors, doesnt matter.

Looks great, but you'll hate the poor night vision. If I was going for that look, I'd buy the blacked out covers. My friend did that on his 06 chevy (black truck) they look great and he can remove them at night. It fWONking rediculous what blacking out a headlight will do to the light output.
