They go nicely with your black fender flares and rims.
I think it would be a good idea to change the bumper as you mentioned.
IMO, the chrome brush guard accents the step bars too!

What did you use instead?

They make an amber "chrome" bulb that looks chrome when off, but shines yellow when on.

I have been looking at bumpers. I just can't get into the look of the Road Armor as of yet. The bumpers look nice just sitting by themselves but when I see them on the F150 they just seem too big. Maybe it's just me. Once I look at the various styles I am having trouble with the cost of a real nice bumper. I just can't spend all that money when I don't like the look 100%. I think I am going to have both of my bumpers powder coated for now. It's only $100.00 per bumper if I do the labor. which is no problem.
At least I can get the black powder coated look for now and maybe down the road I will change my feelings.

Why not paint/powdercoat the chrome white? I think the black would look a little out of place if it is not a full replacement bumper, but the white would give it the "storm trooper" look that is popular now.

I thought about that

I think that if I do the front bumper in black and leave the bull bar chrome along with the surround chrome. It will blend with my side bars and then the black won't be so over powering.
Again I am still not sure what to do.

I wanted the Alien Patrol Lunar R bumper but they are out of business.
