How to shop for an intake

is there a place that you could just buy the intake tube? or mod one yourself?

If you go over to gm-trucks.com and a few other sites, you will see some folks having issues with this intake and their trucks not running right. I do believe there is someone on this forum that is still waiting for a tube that will fit, as the original didn't.
