So just so im understanding this correctly before i go get me one of these clusters.. If your original stock cluster does NOT come with a transtemp gauge.. The new clusters transtemp gauge WILL function? :dunno:

Yes, most of them will drop right in and work. There are a few cases were people have had to go to the dealer to have the sensor activated, usually only about $100 for the programming fee. But it is rare that you have to do that.
