I doubt taking that cover in front of the bulb will do anything...

I had issues with that when I put HID's in my halogen projectors that I got from ebay... The bar causes a shadow... I turned my bulb so the bar was on top instead of below and it went away.

I guess ill try to tinker with it

Don't take that bulb cover off. It might not even help your problem, but it will certainly piss other drivers off.

I'm gonna bet its the aftermarket headlight housing. Maybe go back to stockers And yeah I wouldn't take that bulb cover thing off.

The problem is still there with the stock headlights, but the lense on the stock headlights diffuses enough of it that you don't really notice it.

dang. I just dont understand why the high beams are halogens and do it too
