Awe yes the good old days of camping. :)

Your truck should pull that just fine. We had a 24" Terry and pulled it with our 98 Suburban. Now the gas mileage was a different story.

i know this unit would be perfect, just need to decide if its the right time and such, kinda spending abit to go to hawai too right now, so tough call....

sounded like the guy was in no rush, which is good and bad, he may not go down in price, but it still may be available later. :dunno:

That looks pretty nice Clancy, you can go quite a bit bigger if you wanted too.
Forest river is a well known manufacture and is a nice unit.
You can pull it no sweat, gas mileage isn't even a valid topic here. :D We went camping this weekend, filled up before we left, 103 miles round trip, exactly 1/2 tank left. :D
5.3, 24ft. 65mph, flat Kansas

yeah, good to know about the brand, its not so flat here, but i`m not worried, filled up this morning and hand calculated 17.9 mpg. pretty happy, first tank was 15.1 mpg, but that was on regular (my truck is rated for premium).

either way its better than the 98`s 10-12mpg. :D

Without a trailer your 98 got 10-12.
But you didn't drive it much did you? Mostly your service truck right?

My brother has one but he doesn't use it much I say if your going to invest in one make sure you use it enough or just rent one. My two cents.
