Still can't find the damn torque specs for the 4 bolts holding the diff to the brackets. Anybody know how tight those should be?

Personally I would try getting a pair of Vise Grips on that bolt, heat the nut with a torch and spray some PBlaster or WD-40 on it, then see if it comes loose. I would try that before drilling or anything else.
