Oh God, I got sick to my stomach looking at that. I NEVER want to strip another frame of that nasty greasy stuff EVER again.

Looks like he did a damn good job. You planning on being at E-town even without the coilovers?
It's a dirty, slimy job. And doing it while everything is in the way really sucks even more. Yeah there are some areas they missed which I will take care tomorrow. I'm in the process of removing my tow hitch. In the 5+ years I have owned this truck I never had a need to tow anything, so it's coming off for good. Besides it blocks partial view of the diff cover, exhaust and shocks at certain angles. I left it on for the sole reason of protection. If someone rear ends me and ends up under the truck I will just swap out the carnage with a 14bolt. :dunno:

Probably will miss ETown being the weekends are the only time I have to finish these truck projects sicne I'm back at work and putting in 60+ hour weeks.

Define future. :dunno:

At a later time; going or likely to happen or exist

Have you considered maybe posting a wheel thread? We might be able to suggest some nice choices. Just a thought.

And the trolling continues...

Ahhh..much better.

Just removed the tow hitch, looks 1,000 better. Should've done this a while ago.

So far, thanks. Decided to pull out the struts so that area can be scraped and painted, truck will be on jack stands for a couple weeks until the co's come back. Dan is going to give me a hand putting in the new co's too, figured might as well do it ourselves instead of having a shop do it who would most likely scratch them up. I'll just need an alignment.

So Dan came by in the Miata and helped me remove the Rancho struts and upper A arms, no surprises it all came out nicely. Now the frame can be more easily scraped and painted. Dan also removed the drive shaft, I am gonna have my polisher give it a mirror polish. Hopefully the coilovers fit and go in nice and easy.

It's nice to have good friends like Dan, without his help this might not have been possible, especially with my gimp Achilles. Thanks again Dan.
