Not sure about the legality, but some HIDs run pretty dang blue. Since it's not a flashing light, I think I could get away with it. They're offered in Purple, Blue, Green and Red.

Devil eyes light (probably) use an LED to light up the projector when it's not in use, kinda like my PIAA 525s. Hopefully I can tie them into the parking lights like the 525s.

Halos are the White, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow or Ultraviolet rings of light that surround the projector.

^^That. Usually the angel eyes are white, too, so no need to worry about looking like law enforcement. They come stock on some vehicles.

But even on a separate switch, where could you run them without risk? Most places that sell demon eyes will say "Offroad use only" so that their butts are covered but you still get railed for having them.

Depends on the mood of your cops...

I got pulled over for blue license plate lights

Thankfully, I carry all the 194s I took out of my truck in the glove box

NC says no red or blue lighting. Defined as "an operable red light not sealed in the manufacturer's original package which: (i) is designed for use by an emergency vehicle or is similar in appearance to a red light designed for use by an emergency vehicle; and (ii) can be operated by use of the vehicle's battery, vehicle's electrical system, or a dry cell battery. As used in this subsection, the term "red light" shall also mean any forward facing red light installed on a vehicle after initial manufacture of the vehicle."

I wonder if the Devil eyes could be done in amber to match the parking light. That would still be legal.

My headlights came that way

Though, I did change the halo colours when I retrofitted the S2000 projectors into them...
I'll see if I can find all the pics I took during various stages :dunno:

As for the wiring... It's easy... Tie it into the side marker light :)
It'll be on with the park lights, and it'll blink with the signal lights
(Provided your side markers are single filament bulbs)
