He must have somebody pushing.

I've never seen a Chevy truck get 21... downhill with a wind behind it. I've managed 19.5 per tank if I take it easy on a long trip. Most of the time it's more like 17.

Good thing I have a GMC, and AFM :D
On a pure highway trip, I can easily pull 22-24 miles per gallon cruising 70mph. That is with the BB tune and 89 octane. I am in V4 mode 75% of the time.

I'd have to see it to believe it. Nobody I know with an AFM equipped truck breaks 20. Not calling you a liar Carl. You've always been a straight up guy.

Maybe it's the BB tune??

And being lowered helps. Are the other AFM guys EC and CCs?

Yeah. Nobody I know has a RC truck. That's likely a big part of it.

I used to have an 04 RCSB 4x4 at work with the 5.3 and 3.73 gears. I could get 20-21 regularly in it running rural roads at 65-70. I had an 05 ECSB 4x4 with the 5.3 and 3.42 gears for my personal truck at the time, and I got 15-17 out of it in the same driving. The lighter trucks make a huge difference in MPG.

You also don't have a 2010.

And there would have to be something wrong with my truck to *only* get 18 on the highway.

Driving very conservatively, 250 miles up north, I got 24.1. That was at 65MPH.

i agree as i dont hve a 2010. but i also dont have the 6 spd. i was talking about my trips down in he hot states where the mileage is affected by the 110 degree days.

if i s did conservitively, i could get better MPG's like you said, but why would i do that? no fun to me...
