I thought they were going to finally replace the F150 with an actual all-new truck not the same truck from 04 with it's 4th or 5th new grille and 3rd new interior? Isn't 2015 supposed to be a ground-up redesign that weighs a lot less and gets awesome fuel mileage blowing the competition away?

Granted GM could learn a lot, Ford 9 year old truck seems fresher than GM's 6 year old truck since GM hasn't put any effort into keeping it fresh. A new grille and updated interior for 11 or 12 would have helped a lot. Ram seems to be copying Ford's philosophy, I believe the current truck came out in 09 and got a pretty good update for 13.

I dislike it. Pretty strongly... Eh. I like the F150 platform, that is probably about the only thing I really like about it. I do like the idea of standard bed lights, but if they are 5000k in color. Other than that, it reminds me too much of that ugly Super Chief concept.

I didn't watch the video. As soon as I saw the headlights, I dismissed it.

What the hell is up with headlights on new vehicles these days? Fucking hideous.

I saw an interview where a Ford spokesman kept emphasizing it was a concept vehicle. I like this truck but I doubt the production truck will look exactly like it.

Do they not have even one person who reads forums to see what people think about their trucks? Even on Ford sites people bitch about the giant freaking grilles. Just because you sell a lot doesn't mean you can't sell more.

Needs square fender openings... :dunno:

:jester:

It's okay. I'm not crazy about the grille and the headlights. Boxy front ends seem to be the thing right now. Hopefully it's a trend that changes soon. I'm personally tired of the Tonka Toy styling going on right now...

I think the 97-03 F150 styling was classic. It was very different from the competition and sold extremely well. Never have really been a fan of the all square 04 up look.

Same here. That's the very reason I've kept my 2002 as long as I have. Other then the 2008 Limited F-150's, I've never cared for the 2004-2008 styling. I've grown to like the 2009-current F-150's with the exception of the tailgates on those things, but I'm still not in love enough to buy a 40K truck at the moment. Not when my 2002 only has 92K miles on it and is still like a new one for the most part.

I'd rock one, without the chrome or leather.

Yeah I can see all that auto grill louvers, front air dam and side step working after a few muddy off road drives or driving down the road in a snow or ice storm, my luck the grill louvers would get stuck shut. Stuff like that dont belong on a 4WD truck, common now.

I've been running the Amp electric steps on my 4x4 since early 2008 with no problems! (knock on wood)
