thanks again kris. i was gonna lay some of the matte tonight and guess im gonna do some sanding first but i was also gonna wrap some pieces around the sides etc.

Just remember when you start cutting out pieces, cut them just a tiny bit big so you will have something to sand down to the correct edge/shape. Also, something else I got to thinking about today was the fleece, as you try to sand that down, the nylon particles are not going to sand correctly. You may have to sand then use a lighter to trim the pull outs from fleece.

got more work done.

sanded it down with the dremel then put on another layer then sanded again and another layer around the front sides and then on the back to help mold. its drying now but got some pics of it sanded before the last layer

thanks kris. its been going alot easier than the first go round. i also trimmed the back and sanded it down and now have good contact to the plastic for the surround

its definitely gotten its strength back since after it was all cut out. gonna try and get the sections cut out tomorrow before leaving town but idk if there will be time to lay more
