Here are mine. I am very happy with them. When I did the interior I was on a pretty tight budget and couldn't afford Autometer for all of my gauges. I don't regret going with these at all, BUT that being said. There is definitely a quality difference between the two and if price is no object Autometer is where it's at.

They come with different colored covers for the lights (orange, green, red, blue, etc)

That is the orange. I believe I bought them from oreillys. It's been long enough now that I can't remember the price but it was a fraction of the cost of the Autometer counter part. I put these in 4 to 5 years ago.

Well i called the local oreillys. And for all 6 of the 8000 (white) it would be $234.96 + tax. ($154.97 w/o tach). And for all 6 of the 7000 (black) it would be $222.96 + tax. ($129.97 w/o tach). So i guess ill see what i can do. I defantly want a tach also so with only $12 differant between the to styles for all 6 gauges i guess it comes down to what i want the cluster to look like.

Did you ever get these installed??? For the money they're not bad at all. You made the right choice to go with the 8000 series in my opinion. I prefer full sweep gauges anytime I have a choice. They tend to be more accurate too since they are on a bigger scale.
