Gotchya I am pretty sure that is for version 2 only. I am in the process of ordering it right now. It will allow me to have an economy tune, 2 different towing tunes, a hot tune that I am running right now an a extremely hot tune. I am tired of uploading between tunes.
Alright I gotcha, I have been trying to read about the stuff but I am one of those guys that needs to see the action happen. I need the hands on aspect of it, so when I get it I will probably just change one thing at a time until I get the whole process straight in my head.

That's probably the best way to do it. When I was working on tunes for the truck, I would make an edit and create a new save-file for just that edit. That made it a lot easier to go back to a previous setup that I knew worked correctly..

Yeah that's what I plan on doing, like Carl said the other day. Make 20 copies so you always have a good one to go back to if all goes haywire.:dunce:

The DSP5 switch's are only for diesels.
J-Rod-And why not go with the V2. Since you are pre 07 you don't need it but there are lotsa sweet features with the V2

Two reasons, money and knowledge. The price difference between V1 and V2 is about the money I needed for my wideband. I just dumped another $800 last night on gauges and mounts. I'm just trying to save where I can. I will probably never unlock all of the features of V1.
