The 6.7's have not been out that long. I have faith they will be good but they are not high mileage engines anymore. In reference to the 6.4L They are strong runners. If you can take all the dpf off legally go for it. A lot of states wont pass inspection without it.
Legally no one can take it off(private citizen anyways) but I dont have state inspection. As far as high miles, that doesn't apply to me. I have never owned a rig past 100,000 that i didnt buy with 100,000. If the 6.7 makes it 100-150k I would be fine.
And the 6.7 has been out a year now, if major issues were going to crop up, they'd be there by now.
