The funny thing is, in 2004, the standard, Mustang Cobra (Terminator) came with more HP!!, You can pick up a nice one, in the mid 25K range....:dunno:

The warranty depends on weather or not it has been titled. If it is owned by someone that worked for or owned the dealership, they could have bought the car and never titled it. That would start the warranty when it is titled. But to the question of the covered car behind it, looks like another pony car. If you look at the shape and body lines as well as the wheel base, it matches the R in the picture.

I always thought the warranty started at the DOFU, or Date Of First Use, which generally is the date the vehicle is sold.

Mileage: 11 miles
Warranty: Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty
Title: Clear
Condition: Used
For sale by: Private seller

Not sure about Ford's policy but GM automatically starts their warranty period one year from the manufacture date if it has not been titled. If a vehicle sits on a lot for a year, it has less than the original 3/36 warranty (no dealer would pay floor plan interest on a vehicle for a year - they would discount the hell out of it ans move it). Warranty on demos varies but if they are under a mileage cap, they get full warranty when sold.

There is no way Ford will honor any warranty on this 11 year old car.

What's really funny is that a regular 'ol GT probably out performs that Cobra R handily.

Funny how we all thought the 2000 Camaros and Mustangs were fast...

Now Hyundai and Honda sell sedans that are faster.
