The transfer case should be able to handle it. There are guys running completely stock setups pushing 600rwhp and it has held up. It splits the power between all 4 wheels.Even their new Lvl 7? I thought there was an s-10 running their lvl 7 around 1000hp?Long term, 4l80. There's only small handful of guys on PT.net making real power thru a fully built 4l6x. Like 600+. FLT says they wouldn't run theirs in a truck over 500rwhp.![]()

A beefed up 4L60E is more than enough for that little of weight

Front diff, I'm not too sure about, but if it breaks, I'll fix it with something stronger. I haven't heard of many issues with that either, though.

The 1/2 ton transfer case should bolt right into my truck, then... Though, the only real difference between the two is that the 1/2 ton has a wider chain...
The front diff shouldn't give you any issues... Unless you're going all out in 4x4 and one wheel is spinning like mad, and the other catches...
