Do E3 plugs really do anything?

I get better performance in all of my vehicles after i wash them.

I'd imagine that the "performance" gains i get from cleaning my truck are about equivalent to the performance gains people think they're getting some super special spark plugs.

I agree with the previous statement- they're only seeing "gains" compared to "worn" plugs. I bet if they put OEM replacements in they'd have the same gains.

In my case, washing my truck would give me better performance.

I bet it is the ricer guys that are driving the E3 movement.

Alright here is the skinny on E3 plugs.. Ran them in my truck for about 4 months so far and the way the side electrode is designed is it gives the center electrode 2-3 points to fire off of in the event that a "prong" gets damaged or corroded. Depending on the plug, the side prong should look roughly like this -

\|/ ..and for small engines --> \/

Thats why they can shoot for a lifetime guarantee on their stuff.
As for gains in the end its just a spark plug.
