Do E3 plugs really do anything?

    I get better performance in all of my vehicles after i wash them.

    I'd imagine that the "performance" gains i get from cleaning my truck are about equivalent to the performance gains people think they're getting some super special spark plugs.

    I agree with the previous statement- they're only seeing "gains" compared to "worn" plugs. I bet if they put OEM replacements in they'd have the same gains.

    In my case, washing my truck would give me better performance.

    I bet it is the ricer guys that are driving the E3 movement.

    Alright here is the skinny on E3 plugs.. Ran them in my truck for about 4 months so far and the way the side electrode is designed is it gives the center electrode 2-3 points to fire off of in the event that a "prong" gets damaged or corroded. Depending on the plug, the side prong should look roughly like this -

    \|/ ..and for small engines --> \/

    Thats why they can shoot for a lifetime guarantee on their stuff.
    As for gains in the end its just a spark plug.

    Thread revival btw

    So other than the new plug effect did they have anything over standard plugs?

    Not a damn thing that i've noticed as far as driveability or gain.
