Do E3 plugs really do anything?

I just watched a thing on Speed about E3 spark plugs. I do not trust gimmicks and that is what the E3’s look like to me. I have heard that they do very well in small engine applications and even some imports. But I have also heard that they do nothing in V8’s. I am considering them for our old F250 with a 5.8 and I would appreciate any feedback from my fellow real truck owners.

That is what I have heard some four banger guys say. But what exactly does he notice about them?

I read up on GMT that most had issues when they installed them in their GM V8's. A few didn't but for the most part more problems than not. :dunno:

So it was GM owners that di not like them in thier V8s? I wonder what kind of issues they had.

Better throttle response and better mileage is what I am after.

There's nothing really all that special about them, except they have a lifetime guarantee. Thats about it. :dunno:
