Might be literally now

The smell of when my truck regens gives me an instant headache/sick feeling, yet I could breath black soot all day and feel fine.... untill I age a little and get cancer I guess....

Probably from carbon monoxide. Doesn't it make the idle go up to "burn" everything out of the filter?

Well guess they shouldn't be testing idiots that go to backwoods shows and stick their faces at the tip of a Cummings before if belches smoke at them.

It doesn`t regen on idle, only while in drive.... but yes it is infact a fire or burn going on in there, and its smells nasty ass.

My dad's previous bucket truck was the 6.0 F-sumthin'or'nother and he hated the regen cycles. He said it would shut the truck off if it sat and idled too long. The trucks were sitting and idling because they were using the hydralic buckets and stuff that require the engine running. Not very smart planning there.
