Looks good Darren!

Any word on the Neon?

Thanks Nick! It left me stranded a few days ago but I found a loose vacuum line leading to the valve cover and that was the problem. It runs fine again and so far so good. It still has that ugly sounding tick though. Girlfriends dad suggest I put thicker oil in, 10w30 instead of 5w30. Might try it but I don't know. Would love to pour in that Amsoil but still not sure if it would be a waste to this engine or not.

Glad that you got the stranded issue fixed.

As for the tick, 10w-30 would not make a difference. Going to a 15w-40 diesel might and you might want to try that to see if it will help some. The cleaning features of diesel oil could help. Not really to thick for what you need.

15w40 Diesel? Wouldn't that be bad? I don't know a whole lot about oils and this stuff but I figured a diesel oil would be too thick for any gas engine. Especially this little 2.0 which I am a little afraid to push hard. I take your advice highly though!

One of these days I will take a video of it as I keep claiming to.

It wouldn't be to thick for it to give it a little extra cleaning. You can pick up some Shell Rotella at Wally World and give it a try. Diesel oil had extra detergents in it to keep the engine clean. It is made to keep the soot in suspension on diesels so a gas engine it will clean up nicely.

Took a couple videos and some photos of the truck about a week ago. Have a look!
