That is what I did with mine. That wording from Alpine kind of violates everything I know about resistance (magic wasn't taught to me) so I went 2 ohms. All my subs are 2 ohms

I should have said mine are DVC wired for 2 ohms

Swapped from the Alpine SWR-T10 to the Sundown SD-2 10 with 4 Ohm DVC.

The SD-2 10 will fit perfectly and make use of the space. It's also half the price, American made and seems to be a favorite amongst the mobile audiophiles.


The order has been placed for amp and sub.
