If you have a gain control with your new sub amp I found a cool place for mine. I mounted it in the ash tray....just flip it open to adjust bass gain when desired and the close and it's hidden. It sticks there with the supplied two sided tape and the cable just runs in from behind the dash held with few small zip ties.

I have JL Audio stealth sub that fits in the console, stock head unit and other speakers (will upgrade one day) and power the sub with a Kicker ZX500.1. IT all sounds decent for being stock speakers the sub really woke up the system.

Running the AMP to sub in mono and this sucker really booms if you want it too. I need to start looking for speakers as mine are getting kinda trashed. Streaming the punk station from Jango and having it turned up on the way to work is taking it's toll....:lol:

I put my controller inside the upper glove compartment in my Sierra. Works well for me because I use my ash tray as a change holder.
