So how much bass you gettin from that stock enclosure?
I take it the install wasnt too difficult?
And that pocket looks good in there!
The bass is pretty damn good for an 8, to be honest. I'm not going to wake the neighbors when I drive by but the bass is nice and full inside. Had a little Snoop playing as I dialed it in and I'm very happy with the depth and crispness. I've got a few new rattles to chase down though.
The biggest PITA was fishing the 6ga through the firewall grommet. The rest was a snap. I'm very impressed with how easy it is to run cabling on the 800's. MUCH easier than the 900's.
I never had any problems running wires thru the firewall in mine. The hardest part was cutting a slit in the edge of the main grommet to fish wires thru. I had to run all my alarm wires thru there too, for the siren, tach wire, and hood pinswitch.
I wasn't implying it was super difficult, just that it was the most difficult part. I've dealt with much worse. Installing the system in the Jetta was a real c***sucker.
