There are some proven rotor upgrades, but I have only made them to my bikes.

The Wave rotors on my dirt bike are impressive, and I have been happy with Galfer on my street bikes.

I would get a hammer and a center punch and just dimple entire rotor like it was a golf ball. that would work very well I think.

I don't think greasing them would be that great of an idea because centrical force would take the grease and sling on to the wheel, Which in turn would get on a tire and then you would get a ticket for excessive exhibition of speed also known as squealing the tires.

this could be a slippery slope

Try the grease trick. There's no reason to spend money.

I would just take the rotors off! Just tell the wife it's for weight reduction and fuel mileage.

Put an anchor in it. She can drop it when they start smoking, then cut the line when she gets to the bottom.

Water cooled brakes would be cheap to do. Just a tank, pump and some lines.
