What did you use on the lights to get them looking so good Jose? I need to do that to the wifes car. Headlights are getting oxidized bad. She paid a place 50 bucks to "fix" them, but they did a really shitty job. They didn't even look like they were completely clear when it was done. Within 3 months they looked exactly the same as they did before they "fixed" them.

They will oxidize quickly if you don't clear them. I have a friend who has made a small fortune restoring lights here. He puts a clear coat on them after he finishes. Otherwise the UV will turn them dull in no time again. In 5 years of doing it, he has never had anybody come back with a complaint.

Exactly! My dad used to own a dealer in Mexico and they paid a guy to clean all the headlights on the lot and he always finished by shooting a coat of clear on them. this is what I used, no clear yet since I want to go over them again to make sure I leave them clear and smooth.

I start with the 1250 and finish with the 2500. I would probably do a better job if i used a buffer or a power ball on a drill but just using some elbow grease I'm getting great results! I found a kit at walmart that you can use with a power drill http://www.walmart.com/ip/3M-Headlight-Restoration-Kit/13023890
from the pics it looks like it should do a great job.

So I've been driving the crap out of this truck and put at least 3500 miles on it in a very short time. I had an exhaust rattle the other day so I went to by buddy's muffler shop to see what it was and I found out my flowmaster is rotting out so the pipe moves when the truck is idling. I dont know if to order a new muffler or a new dynomax bullet, or should I just install a si/do flowmaster sitting in my office? :dunno: The Flowmaster is free but I would have to pay for the dual pipes. I was thinking of doing it lightning style but I havent decided. I might just put it on and dump it. I cant make up my mind.....
