Che's '99 F-150 S-cab

Got this truck about a year and a half before the 05. Saw it parked on the street with a for sale sign and I just had to have it! I bought some Harley 20s from Ford and did a tune up a short while later. Bought a cold air intake from ebay and put on a flowmaster muffler. Its faster than my 05 and sounds great with the muffler. I let my dad use it when I got the silver truck and things started going down hill from there. A corvette smashed the passenger side so it went in for repairs and it came back wth a horrible paint job. It started having problems with the rearend and we had to park it till we got some cash to fix it. Turns out it was the clutches in the LSD were toast so I got that swapped out today. I traded a pathfinder rearend for it so no money out of pocket. Here is a pic of it clean.

And these are from today after I made sure the new LSD was working!

Future plans (besides a wash) are

2000 Harley front valance and ptm the top bumper pad.
A new paint job
Harley head lights
A new set of tail lights
lightning grill
all 4 ball joints and rear shocks

I dont plan on messing with the engine unless I find a lightning motor to swap in. I'm pretty sure it was tuned before cuz the governor wont kick in and it runs better on 91.
I really hope I can get it looking as good as Greg's truck!

looks good... i agree that front end needs some attention ........ them tail lights are pretty cool.... most of them look awful(including mine)..

Wash that thing up and you've got a winner! Always will have a special place in my heart for this bodystyle F-150. I've often thought about buying a 2000-2003 4X4 so I'd have one of each!

The tails look great. I normally don't care for any of the aftermarket tails for that bodystyle, but those are cool. All that's left to do now is HD valance and a drop kit!

thanks guys! The tails were painted when the truck was painted. They use to be black. Its been raining for 3 days straight here so I'll wash it when things clear up. I need to wash the air filter too.
